The Accelerated Free Fall course consists of a seven level training process that makes sure you can survive in free fall by yourself. Our objective is give you the basic flight, awareness, and canopy skills to safely find your way back to solid ground whilst making sure you have a blast. Depending on your advancement in the courses it may take more or less time and we will vary the skydive to maximize the skill set that we teach to each individual student.
- AFF level 1: A 4-6 hour ground course will be given to ensure that you have basic knowledge of cutaway procedures, basic body postition and altitude awareness. These skills will then be used when you experience the thrill of the skydive itself. You're free fall will be nearly a minute long and you will be expected to remain calm and aware and pull for yourself. Two instructors are in free fall with you, and although they are not physically connected to you, they will be holding on to you and making sure everything goes great. Your canopy flight will be aided with instructional radio.
- AFF Level 2 & 3: The second stage in the AFF progression requires you to continue pulling for yourself and you're instuctors release you at their discretion. You may begin using the basic movements and body controls required for stable body position. Altitude awareness is a focus up to this point. You will start to feel much more comfortable in free fall and under canopy and will start to feel comfortable on your own without radio assistance on landing.
- AFF Level 4-7: The final stage of the AFF program starts to integrate skydiving skills with skydiving survival. You will vary your exit techniques and start doing a variety of back/front flips and barrel rolls. Upon graduation of our program you will be able to skydive safely by yourself and land your own canopy. Although your basic skills are there we do offer coaching of all levels to improve your overall abilities.
A license: After graduating AFF, 25 jumps and displaying/completing a variety of skydiving techniques you will get your USPA A license and be able to skydive virtually anywhere by yourself. Say hello to 24 dollar skydives.
